Tenchi blinked into the glaring sun oblivious to the fact that he had slept in till noon, when Sasami came in. "Tenchi, your finally up! Every time we tried to wake you, you would say you were to hungry to wake up but you wouldn't eat the food!" Tenchi didn't remember any of this although he had a dream monsters were shaking him screaming, "Sorry if I worried you guys, I guess I was tired," replied Tenchi.
"Well come on down, lunch isn't completely over."

After getting dressed Tenchi walked down stairs and into the kitchen. As he sat down Ryo-Oki jumped onto his lap meowing for attention, "Hey Ryo-Oki how are you, today?" He said as he rubbed the cabbits head vigorously and began to sip the broth of the miso soup in front of him. Then he saw the strange looks Ryoko and Aiaka (tell me if I spelled her name wrong!) were giving him strange looks from the corner of their eyes.
"Ok, what is it you two?" The two girls yelped and then tried to seem perfectly innocent as they spoke, "We're fine Tenchi, why ever do you ask? Because we sure weren't looking at you!"
"Ryoko Aiaka (once more tell me if I'm wrong!) what are you hiding?" Tenchi' left eyebrow rose as they looked at each other and smiled at him. Tenchi heard a door slam in the house as grandfather (I know his real name is Yosho but this isn't that far yet!) stomped into the room yelling, "All right who took the keys to the Shrine!?"
