Previously:

"Right, Kellie, do you want some mus-" The Lieutenant stopped dead. He had just seen something move in the shadows.

"What? What's wrong?" asked Kellie nervously.

The Lieutenant remained transfixed staring into the dark corridor that led off from the console room. He knew who he had just seen. It was impossible. How would he survive? How long until he took over the TARDIS? Would he be able to-?

"Lieutenant?" asked Kellie.

"Oh, um. Music? You want music on?" he asked.

"Um...Yeah, please. Whistle While I Work it Chester See feat. Toby Turner with Wayne Brady."

"Right." said the Lieutenant. He flicked a switch and all the lights came on in the TARDIS. "Ok. There you go." The music was playing. "Ok. How about meeting my parents when they were young?"he asked.

"Sounds good." said Kellie.

"My mother used to say everyday of my teenage life 'I forbid you to smoke, get drunk for fun, smoke pot, have sex with someone you barely know, binge on fast foo or sweets when you're down, curse or lie. We'll see." said the Lieutenant.

The TARDIS materialised.

"Ok. Outside here is a huge white line. No-one where we arre can see it or us. Just the TARDIS. This will make it easy to jump between lives." The Lieutenant put on the hologram. "Yep, ok." He put it off again.

The Lieutenant and Kellie left the TARDIS.

There in front of them was a younger version of the Tracker and her friends in 1984.

"Ok. This is a time wall between 1972 and 1984."

The Tracker took a cigarette off her friend and took a suck. Her face contorted.

"She did smoke!" said the Lieutenant.

The Lieutenant and Kellie stepped through the time wall.

The Bishop stood a short distance away under a shelter. He, too, looked young. He had a fag in his hand and was puffing out smoke.

"He did too!" exclaimed the Lieutenant.

The Lieutenant and Kellie stepped back to 1984.

All was white.

"What does this mean?" asked Kellie.

"Mum didn't get drunk for fun."

Kellie thought it was weird hearing the Lieutenant say 'Mum'.

The Lieutenant and Kellie stepped back to 1972.

Again, everything was white.

"Ok." said the Lieutenant.

The Lieutenant and Kellie stepped back to 1984.

This time everything was black.

"Ok, this. This means mum didn't do anything else we're looking for."

The Lieutenant and Kellie stepped back to 1972.

"Dad did curse and lie. Hardly surprising." said the Lieutenant. "Interesting. Ok. That's enough."

The Lieutenant and Kellie returned to 1984 and to the TARDIS.

The TARDIS dematerialised.

"So where now?" asked Kellie excitedly.

"I think we deserve some betting." said the Lieutenant. "You know, Kellie, I'm satisfied. I've actually learned a lot of my parents now."

The TARDIS was on cruise.

The Lieutenant heard a quiet movement behind him.

Again, something had confirmed it's presence on the TARDIS.
