hmmm... 5 min in notepad; perhaps I should have actually editted it...

oh well. A drabble that has been sitting in my computer for quite some time now. There is no plot, character development, or emotions at all. It was originally an idea for a scene in a much larger fic, but knowing me that fic will only exist in my head.

See what you make of it!

Ginny turned the corner to find her brother pinned to a wall by none other than Draco Malfoy.

"Malfoy! I suggest you release my brother," she demanded.

She could see the muscles in his jaw flex as he ground his teeth and growled,

"Give me one. good. reason."

A hint of a smile playing upon her lips, Ginny cooly responded, "Why Malfoy, I thought it obvious. He's a nosy git who isn't worth your time."

She noted Ron's eyes nearly bugging out of his head before locking her own on Draco, who had turned to look at her, amused.

"Besides, surely Malfoys don't resort to physical violence."

He smirked at her. "Weasleys do."

Ginny abadoned her detached dememeanor and flashed him a mischivious smile.

"Why Draco Malfoy, I do believe I've been a bad influence on you."

Releasing her brother, Draco turned his full attention to the woman standing before him, smiling radantly.

Scowling, he darkly murmured, "You have no idea."

In one smooth motion, Draco closed the distance between them, tilted her head up, and kissed her soundly.

Neither noticed Ron sputtering in the background.
