wondering how everyone is doing...

wondering why you... of all people... had to choose me to be king... I never asked for it... never will I ever... be the same... after that day... when they all said it...

"why are you king?"

"What a piece of imperfection, this boy is no fit for a king!"

"Worthless..."

"Gay!"

"Ugly!"

"Sticky!"

The words hurt... I think... I am no fit for a king... but... what tipped me over... is when she... said these words that got to me.

"It's over... I am done with you..."

at first, I just walked away and just acted normal... but in the inside... I was ripping apart my organs, in agony. I was so upset. I ran to my room and I was tumbling to the bathroom. I sat in the tub crying for ages.

"Why me?... Why?... what did I ever do to you!" I saw the knife... I grabbed it and had a look...

Do they care?

What's the point?

they won't notice...

They'll just enjoy it...

I slit the knife deep into my wrist... it really hurts but its worth it... I have no life here in Deltora... I am no king... just a nuisance.

I saw black dots appearing... I felt like I was going to faint. but I herd a bang on the door.

"Leif are you ok!" it was Prin's voice.

"Yeah... I'm fine..."

"Well I don't believe you!"

"Prin just leave me alone!" Other footsteps came in.

"LEIF COME OUT NOW!"

"what is it?"

"COME OUT NOW!"

I herd Barders voice get angrier and angrier. I had to clean up quick.

"Ahhh just a second!"

I had to be quick, if I don't they'll get angry.

"LEIF WE KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN THERE!"

"What am I doing in here then!"

"Just come out!"

I pull up my sleave and clean up the blood. I walk out to find Barder, Mother, Jasmine, maids, a nurse, Manus, Tira , Glock, Steven and Tom.

"Leif, pull up your sleave." my mother said worriedly.

"Why?"

"because, just pull up your sleave!" Jasmine shouted angrily.

"No!"

"LEIF!"

Jasmine yanked Leif's sleave and yanked it down.

everyone gasped.

"Leif... why..."

"It's none of your business! now leave me alone!"

"No!"

"Jasmine just give him space..."

Everyone left apart from Barder and my mother.

"Leif what's going on?"

"Leif what's the problem?" why didn't you tell me?"

"Because its none of your business!"

"LEIF!"

a tear fell down my face.

'I wanted it to end!"

"No Leif..."

"Just stay away from me!"

I ran out of the room. sprinted past everyone, Jasmine ran after him.

"Jasmine leave me alone!"

"Leif..." her hand reached out to Leif. he ran and ran. And everyone was looking for him, hours on end. he was nowhere to be seen.

"LEIF!"

his name echoed through the kingdom, but no answer. will they ever find him... I have no idea.
