Let Me Love You When Your Heart Is Tired

"10 minutes to impact." Kylo reads as he watches over a sleeping Rey in the queen-sized bed in the master bedroom of the Millennium Falcon.

Kylo quietly shuffles over to the control panel room and sees a huge red bolt of light flying over the planet Tondoo in the unknown regions. Dammit Hux, why are you such a destroyer? First the Hosnian System, now Tondoo and Alrebaran.

He runs back to the master's bedroom and shakes Rey's shoulders, in attempt to wake her up. "Rey," he whispers breathlessly.

Rey quickly stirs and wakes up to a really distressed Kylo. "Ben, what is it?" she asked, exhaling with a single sigh.

"8 and a half minutes. We don't have that much time." He replies. As soon as the words left his mouth, Rey shot up and scurried across the Falcon's hallways to the cockpit, Kylo at her tail.

The two came to a halt when they saw Chewie and Finn sprawled across the pilot and co-pilot's seats, and Poe who is currently in an awkward position on the seat behind the pilot and co-pilot.

"You three. Wake up! 7 minutes and we're not even taking off yet." Rey announced with such a voice the three woke up, looking around for the source.

Chewie growled and moved over, Finn and Poe following soon after. When their feet had just left the cockpit, the two jumped on the seats, Kylo as pilot and Rey as co-pilot and starting turning and switching on levers and buttons in attempt to escape an Alderaan-like case.

"3 minutes, come on!"

The engine roared to life, and they shot off almost immediately, leaving the surface and meeting the sky.

"two minutes thirty-five, thirty-four…." The alarm warned.

They barely had 2 minutes to jump into hyperspace when Kylo leaned over and kissed her.

"I love you." She smiled at him.

"I know, sweetheart." He replied.

As the clock tick by the last 10 seconds before the planet will be destroyed, the couple, with hands clasped together on the hyperspace lever, pulled it down as one and shot off to hyperspace just as the planet shatters in blinding lights and tectonic pieces.
