"I told ya to get the fuck out of my house!" Cid bellowed as he narrowed his eyes at the brunette man, pointing his lance at the ex-Turk menacingly. "The fuck do ya want; ain't yer crystallized bitch got a place fer ya to stay?"

"Cid," Vincent began with a sigh, reaching out towards the blonde in an attempt to placate the pilot, "Lucrecia is-"

"Is fuckin' what, Val?" the pilot snapped. "What is she? The bitch ya've been sneakin' 'round with fer the past six weeks? The bitch ya still love? The bitch whose name ya called out when we last fucked? Oh, I know; she's the whore ya are leavin' me fer!"

"Cid, I never meant to hurt you," the gunner spoke softly as he stepped closer, gently moving the lance out of the way before he wrapped his left arm around the blonde's waist, pulling him flush against his hard and warm body. "We both knew when we started this tryst-"

"Tryst? This ain't a fuckin' tryst, ya motherfucker! This was a goddamn relationship!"

Narrowing his eyes slightly, Vincent continued, "I told you when this began that I still had feelings for Lucrecia."

"Oh, yeah," Cid sneered as he looked up at the gunner with vehemence. "Silly me fer thinkin' that ya might have more feelin's fer me seein' how we were fuckin' on a daily basis!"

"Shh..."

"Don't ya fuckin' tell me to shush!" the blonde pilot practically shrieked. "This is my goddamn house an' I'm tellin' ya to get the fuck ou-"

His sentence was muffled as he felt a pair of soft lips press against his own, body relaxing against the taller man's even as his mind still seethed with rage. He wanted to push the brunette away in anger; the man was leaving him. He was being left even after he had caught the lanky bastard sitting alone in Lucrecia's cave after he had told him otherwise. The cheating bastard was leaving him for the woman who ruined his life. A woman who was still trapped inside of a crystal coffin of her own making. She did not deserve Vincent's love and trust, she did not care if he never left her side and bothered to take care of himself. She was not there to pick up the pieces when the fucker had finally decided that it was time to let her go and move on.

Pushing the brunette away, Cid punched the man in the jaw before turning around on his heels and stomping out of his house.

She would not be there when the ex-Turk finally gave up his hopes about their future together.

...And neither would he.
