A/N: This was inspired by watching a YouTube video, not the Hunger Games (but I love the trilogy!). It was a Dissidia mod with Sora and Roxas as a tag team versus Aqua and Terra, so I kind of thought... what if? Then this idea was born! It just so happened that the scenario was similar to the Hunger Games. Okay, I'll stop blabbing. But I had this idea a long time ago and I had epic ideas for it! I hope you guys would like it :D

The Keyblade Games

Ten years had passed, and there were still no clues of the whereabouts of Ventus and Vanitas Strife, as well as their father, who went missing on his venture to find them. Sora and Roxas were determined to find their brothers now with the same way they vanished - by joining the Keyblade Games, a deadly quadrennial competition testing the wills of the bravest and most gifted Keyblade wielders everywhere.

Mama, where did Venny and Vani go?

Kairi,

I know you're going to hate me for this. You and Mom. But you have to understand why Roxas and I have to go. We really want to find out where our brothers are. We haven't seen Ventus and Vanitas since they left for the 4th Keyblade Games. Roxas and I were six years old back then.

Dad, where are you going?

Dad left when we were eight to find them after they went missing. It was inevitable that he went missing too.

Roxas, that's the craziest idea you ever had.

It was Roxas' idea to join this year. We couldn't take it anymore. Mom has been depressed since half of our family vanished, and we never received answers about their whereabouts. We couldn't rely on the officials and authorities anymore.

Riku, look after Kairi and Xion, please.

You won't be alone, I promise. Riku and Xion will keep you company. And I doubt Axel would let you get into trouble.

Roxas! We can dual wield! We have a chance!

And don't think I'll get into trouble. We have a reason to join the tournament, and our drive is enough to let us win. We can dual wield, you know that! We have twice the strength of a regular keyblade wielder, and since Roxas and I are partners, imagine how strong we would be together.

Hey, Axel? Thanks for this. I'm really scared to give this letter to Kairi.

Please don't be sad, Kairi. I promise I'll come back. Roxas and I are sure of it. We're going to win, find our brothers and our dad, and we're going to bring home the treasure from Kingdom Hearts. I really believe Roxas and I will win, Kairi! I'm really sure.

Have faith in me, please. I need your support. Stay mad at me if you want, but please keep supporting me. I'll miss you, Kairi. I promise to continue writing more letters to you.
