My scouter acted as one, and luckily the Ape only had a power level of 120, so the guards would take him down. Then I remembered, the World's Strongest, the Tenkaichi Budokai was this month. Every Saiyan over the age of 18 was required to participate, as part of the treaty with Earth. I was the strongest kid in the village, with a fighting power of 76 without powering up. I noticed an obvious power difference, but I couldn't not fight, so I leapt towards the Ape, charging my power all the way to the max. "Haaagh!" I rose up in ki and reached 109. If there is one thing I hate about Saiyans it is the Great Ape transformation. I saw that he had destroyed 2 houses. I reached him with my second jump and punched him in the side of the head, throwing him off and spinning him around to face me. "Raaaagh" He shot a mouth beam at me, but missed as I fell to the ground. For once, not being able to fly was a good thing. I kicked him in the feet and knocked him to the ground with a crash. Before he could get up I unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks. My power quickly fell if I unleashed it all at once, already it had lowered back down to 103, so I needed to win fast. I conserved energy again as he tried to annihilate me with multiple punches, since he was slow and I didn't have time to block. I jumped back up and kicked him in the face twice then spun around and kicked him again. A fist slammed me and I went flying across town.
