She's not from this universe. She's not human. She has never been human. The human tongue can't even pronounce what she is. In words she's considered a wanderer, a lost soul, a broken heart, a piece missing it's puzzle, homeless. She hates all those terms though. She calls herself a Jumper, and she's perfectly right to call herself that, but perfectly wrong to reject the other titles she has been given.
Before we begin her story, we should understand her.
She was born into nothingness. She was born in the space between universes. Her parents told her this repeatedly. They didn't want their daughter to forget where she was from. Her father was from a universe that was extremely popular with the Cracked Universe, which her mother was from.
The Cracked Universe is where you are now. Haven't you ever wondered where all the stories, television shows, and movie ideas come from? Your universe is filled with cracks that let loose thoughts, emotions, ideas, and at times you have the ability to see them in dreams.
In other universes, people deal with real problems and real issues. They aren't just characters on a screen or paper. They pain that they feel is just as real as the pain of a heartbreak. These universes were separated by thick layers at first, but as time rolled on the people from the Cracked Universe, previously known as the Thin Universe, grew more and more curious. As their curiosity grew so did the cracks.
The common belief of all people is that everyone has a counterpart in each universe, usually called a parallel-self. She is among these people and began looking for the universe she belonged to after her parents' death. She uses the device left behind by them, to 'jump' between the many universes.
She has set a rule for herself, never change the way something ends. Cause when she does it as a 23% chance to destroy that universe.
