(Star's bedroom)
The princess woke up as the dreaded rooster did it's call, and she shot it dead with her wand before yawning and stretching a bit.
Once she got off off her bed, however, Star felt something was...off. Like something had suddenly changed in the city. She quickly shrugged it off, put on her normal clothes and went downstairs to find something horrible had happened to Marco's parents.
They were clowns.
The duo laughed as Star shut her mouth and sneaked past the house and instantly left the house, sighing in relief once she was seemingly free from the clowns.
However, the princess soon discovered much to her horror that everybody in echo creek outside of her were now a clown: students, teachers, that odd guy from the mall who looks poor, there wasn't a single non-clown person in sight.
The girl shivered and tried to run away, only to almost collide with some clowns in the process. She shivered and got ready to cry before she heard something...
"Star!"
The voice sounded familiar, which made the mewman girl feel a bit of relief. She looked around for the voice, but all she could see were clowns.
"Star!"
She continued to look, dodging all the clowns she could, and she found the source of the voice was none other than Marco, who was beating up some of the echo-clowns. Star joined the brawl and defeated the remaining clowns before Marco noticed her.
"Star, I know you may be asking what is going on, but there's no time to answer!" Marco blurted before grabbing Star's hand. "We need to cross the portal and close it, or else the clowns might invade echo creek!"
The mewman nodded and punched a clown in the face before heading to the portal with her consort, only for the ground to suddenly shake once they arrived.
Marco and Star turned around and saw a giant robot formed entirely out of clowns. Star took out her wand, aimed it at the monster, and dashed before the monster uttered a single sentence.
"Hold it right there."
(Back in reality, at Miss Skullnick's classroom)
Star and Marco were in front of a perplexed Miss Skullnick, apparently telling her of the incidents with the clowns.
"So, let me get this straight, you say the reason Star didn't do her homework wasn't because of the generic lazyness that plagues most teenagers nor the fact that she had to avoid being hunted by the forces of evil, but rather because she was stuck in an alternate version of echo creek populated by clowns during the time she could have made it?"
"Yeah, that's basically the gist of it." Marco replied.
"...I'm sorry, Marco, but I find that hard to believe." Miss Skullnick stated before marking Star with an F. "Besides, clown dimension or not, Star still failed."
Star looked at the ground and went back to her desk. Then, once Marco went to his desk and turned to the sad girl, he put his hand on her shoulder and reassured her, "At least we got you out of the clown dimension."
Star smiled, and then immediately flinched once she saw a disembodied clown hand in her head, which she slapped away.
