LOVE BABIES

It was a quiet day at the clubhouse, and after all the mayhem of the past weeks, the Sons of Anarchy deserved some quiet.

Abel was outside playing with Unser, and Thomas was inside the clubhouse on Lilith's lap. Jax was nowhere to be seen.

It had been two months since Tara's death...

Tig was sitting at the bar with Juice , and Bobby. He was watching his daughter interact with the infant, and to the surprise of everyone , Lilith was doing well.

She wasn't motherly with Thomas like Gemma was, but she was more like a friend to the little blond baby in her arms. She was talking to him ,as they watched a documentary about sloths on the tv. She talked to Thomas in her normal voice, and didn't make baby noises.

Tig sighed, thinking that Lilith couldn't hear him, he started talking.

"Those two are both love babies" he said , almost absent mindedly.

Juice looked up at Tig , "love babies?" He asked Tig.

"Love babies" Bobby explained, as if it was a universal concept.

"Huh?" Juice said, as he looked perplexed.

Tig sighed once more , and started to explain "When two people are in love, and have a baby , it's a love baby. They're usually very calm, as they're made out of love."

Juice looked at Tig with a confused look on his face "Lil's a love baby?" He asked .

Tig started to explain once more "It was before I got patched, met this girl ...I really loved that one."

"How did she die?" Juice asked.

"It was right after Lil was born, she wanted to go for a ride, so we did. I dumped an FXR on the 1-5 , and she slid right into oncoming trafic."

"Damn ..." Juice let out as he was still in shock from Tig's story.

"I was young then, didn't know anything, about anything. Was in shock, and couldn't look after my baby. That's when social services had her, gave her to a family, then they moved to Canada." Tig added , and Bobby patted him on the back.

Unknown to Tig Lilith could hear every word he said, she already knew the whole story. Even though she had lived through such a huge loss so early on in life, she had no memory of it, therefore she had no pain. That didn't stop her feeling sorry for the baby in her arms.

"We have a lot in common kid" she muttered "But I hope to God , that you get to stay with your family. I never got that chance."
