FIrst and foremost in his soul was the Sea. Standing at his right, noble and pround, caring for the pirate when he had nothing else. Aiding him in whatever fool voyage he decided to embark on, guiding him safely through hurricanes and typhoons, lending him the wind for speed. A royal woman was she, with plenty of other suitors, but she favored the man made legend by her affection.
Then,of course, there was Fate, with the noose in one hand and the other curled lovingly around the man she toyed with. Fate had found in him a man to match her grin for grin, trick for treachery, and oh, how she loved a challenge.
And then, so did he.
Lady Luck had her place, too. Casting her dice into Sparrow's waiting hands, flirting witht the swaying pirate, and thwarting her sister's traps in hopes of keeping such a curiosity of a man. But Lady Luck is a dngerous lover for such a man, easy to jealousy and scorn when Sparrow is with the others.
But easily, too, did she forgive.
And then the beautiful Black Pearl, who would hold a piece of Sparrow's heart for all time. A baudy wench, the Pearl was, flirting with Danger, and showing off her... assets to any who would care to gawk. None could deny her, and her smug smile gave the clear message that she already had a man, thank you very much. And the sparrow tattooed on her thigh warned any who got too close.
James grinned, picturing it in his mind. Jack Sparrow, standing there in all his madness, the Sea on his right arm, the Pearl draped across his left side, Fate dancing around him, sometimes with noose, sometimes without, and Lady Luck playing games of chance at his feet.
Tanned arms embraced James Norrington from behind, ringed fingers dancing along his chest.
"And what're ye thinkin' about, Jamie-luv, that's makin' ye grin like that, eh?" A playful tone was clear in his voice.
"Nothing, Jack. Nothing at all.," James replied, turning to kiss the notorious pirate captain.
Sparrow's mistresses were going to have to learn to share, James thought to himself.
After all, Captain Jack Sparrow's got himself a Commodore now, too.

"That bastard!" growled Fate, twisting her noose angrily between her long-nailed fingers. "He can't do that to us!"
"It's not fair!" cried Lady Luck, sobbing in a corner.
"Do be quiet, you two. Jack can, and will, do whatever he likes," the Sea scolded without looking up from her needlework. "He is a free man, after all. "
"But whats he need that bugger for, huh? Are we not enough for him?" Fate demanded.
"Oh, shut up Fate. And you too, Luck." Lady Luck's sobs stopped abruptly.
"And what do you think Pearl, huh? What do you think of your captain's relationship with that iman/i?"
The Black Pearl grinned, looking back at the two lovers in her cabin.
"I'd bed him."
"Pearl!" the Sea excalimed, shocked. Fate scowled. The Black Pearl just kept grinning, a lusty glint in her dark eyes.
"He is a ivery/i lovely man beneath all that brocade and propriety. Jack looks like he's having a good time."
ALl eyes turned to the activities in the captain's cabin.
"Oh my..." Lady Luck gasped.
The Black Pearl grinned wider and allowed a hand to drift beneath her skirts.
"Maybe they'll let me join them next time."
