Title: The Magic in You [Thea/Eric]
Summary: Thea has lost her magic and finds out that the only way to get it back is by a blood ritual bonding her life with her soul mates life. The problem is, if one of them were to die, so would the other at the exact same time. [Blood bonding idea came from Sherrilyn Kenyon]
Warning/Note: ROMANTIC FLUFF! This is just a snippet of the next installment for the After Hour Night World series I've been working on. I'm posting it up so you guys know I wasn't axe murdered (something a reviewer said to me).
Chapter 1 will be a continuation of Jez/Morgead (for about a page) and then it'll go into Thea/Eric.
Chapter 2 Snippet:
"Eric, are you sure?" Thea whimpered, tears streaming down her face. "There's so much in my world that could go wrong, that could kill me and…"
He placed the tip of his finger against her lips, quieting her. "You're my world, Thea and I don't want to be here if you're not here. I want you happy and sane, but right now you're going crazy. Not having your powers is making you insane… miserable, and if something I can do will fix that then I'll do it. I don't view this as consequence, but as a salvation. I know that if you were to ever die, I wouldn't ever be alone because I would go with you."
"Did Morgead explain how it needs to be done? I-I know you wanted to wait—"
His honey colored eyes warmed as he watched her fidget with her shirt. "I'm shaking."
Her eyes lifted in surprise. "What? I mean, well we don't have to."
He gave her a soft, warm smile and tucked a piece of her wheat colored hair behind her ear. "I'm shaking because I want you so badly. The moment I saw you…" He paused to swallow. "Don't even question how much I want you. How just being near you in this moment is almost impossible without being with you."
