A poem I wrote that is in a particular character's point of view from my fanfic 'Ice and Snow', it's not a chapter so I didn't put it with the story. Please enjoy.

This is a poem I wrote for my fanfic 'Ice and Snow' It's in a certain character's point of view.

Eternity

I'm scared...

but I'm not afraid.

If such a thing is even possible.

I've only got one chance,

One more shot at fate.

It's one more step through the looking glass

And destiny is on the other side.

There hope and despair look just the same

And slowly you pull away the pieces of my shattered mask.

A soul crying desperately to you in a silent scream.

You know the real me.

No more hiding.

No more shame.

It is time to accept eternity.

I'm endless

But not empty.

I dream

But only in nightmares.

I know

But knowing is only half the story.

The rest is up to me and you.

I will never be whole,

I'm endless in a horrid way

But at the end of the day...

I love you anyways.
