2:30 A.M.

Jaime gently tapped Vic's shoulder, causing him to wake up, though completely asleep at the same time.

"Move over, please." He said quietly, so after he moved he could fall asleep right away.

Vic groaned, but managed to create some room on the couch, which now help all members on the band, somehow they all had managed to cram themselves together into a Pierce the Veil sandwich. Mike was sleeping with his head half off of one side, and Tony was knocked out between him and Vic. Jaime was the unlucky one, he managed to fall off of the couch and he woke up around 2:25 with a crick in his neck, and a headache. As Jaime predicted, Vic fell asleep almost instantly after he'd moved, now leaning on Tony. He laid down, leaning half on Vic and half on the back of the couch. Normally, the band would be up way past this, but since they were taking a year off of touring and performing, they decided they should get a normal amount of sleep.

3:40 A.M.

Of course it was his luck to have insomnia, of course it was. Cursing his luck, Jaime wiped the small line of drool off of himself, and he went to stand, until he realized that Vic's head was now in his lap.

"God dammit, Vic." He said, with a quiet laugh.

After carefully moving his head and putting a pillow under it, he walked over and grabbed an acoustic guitar. Playing guitar was his stress relief, and even though it was almost four in the morning, and all of his friends were asleep, he couldn't help himself. He substituted his louder guitar for the gentle acoustic one that he had always kept in case he felt like toning it down, which was usually a rare occasion.

His fingertips caressing the strings in a soft, rhythmic way, he began to sing, in a gorgeous, yet deep and attractive voice, that he didn't usually like to broadcast. Though, since his whole band was asleep, or so he thought, he had no problem with it.

"Sunshine, there ain't a thing that you can do that's gonna ruin my night." He sang, slowly, his fingers gliding effortlessly over the strings of the gorgeous instrument. "But there's just something about," he added quietly "this dizzy dreamer and her bleeding little blue boy.." He sang softly, to match the beautiful strumming that, not even he, knew he was capable of. "Lickin' your fingers like you're done and you've decided there is so much more than me.." He continued, tears welling up in his eyes. His eyes, however, were not the onles that saw what Jaime saw. Vic had been awake since he started playing, silently listening. He allowed Jaime to finish his song, and painfully listed to quiet sobs until Jaime cried himself to sleep, allowing Vic to return to his haunted slumber.
