"OH MY GOD! NEJI, ARE YOU OKAY?!" Naruto cried hysterically as he stormed into Neji's room right after the team left. Naruto ran right to Neji's side, grasping Neji's left hand tightly.

Neji was gazing at the window but looked away and stared at Naruto surprised that the blonde ninja would find out about his injury so quickly."…Naruto. I thought you had a mission today," Neji stated calmly.

"I asked Kakashi if I could be excused from it—but more importantly, ARE YOU OKAY?!"

"I'm surprised that Kakashi allowed it."

"Yeah, but I have to go back and cover two missions after this—BUT TELL ME ARE YOU FREAKIN' OKAY?!"

"…Naruto. Calm down. As you can see, I'm perfectly fine. Just a few cuts and bruises and my right leg is broken and I can't really move my right elbow—"

"AHHHH! HOW COULD YOU BE SO CARELESS!"

"…Naruto…calm down," Neji annoyingly repeated as Naruto took few deep breaths. "I was focused on not letting the enemy get away and protecting the victim, so I didn't see the landslide coming down and taking out the whole mountain side. You should be happy that I saved the victim and she is perfectly healthy while I'm alive with only a few broken bones."

Naruto collapsed onto Neji's bed with a 'flop,' facing closely to the dark haired teen. "I was so worried," Naruto whispered, finally tired from panicking for so long. Naruto stared down at his hands, letting his hair cover his eyes.

"I'm sorry for worrying you," Neji smiled gently as he lift his left hand to brush Naruto's hair away from his face, revealing a few strands of tears rolling down the blonde's cheeks. Neji leaned in to kiss the tears away, grateful that he did not injure his spine or else leaning in would be painful. The tears were salty, but Neji didn't mind because it was his blonde's tears. Neji kissed the closed eyelids, kissed on top of the long blonde eyelashes, kissed the warm forehead, and kissed the pink soft lips quivering in anticipation. He kept on kissing those pink lips and slowly prods them open with his tongue.

"Ha…Mm…" Naruto moans, but soon retreats the kiss and stares at Neji in the eyes. Neji backed away a bit in confusion, silently asking why Naruto stopped the kiss. "You must be hungry! Let me go get you food!"

"Wait—Naru—" and off Naruto went. Neji lean back into his pillow and stared at the ceiling while waiting for his blonde ninja to come back. After a few minutes, Naruto came back with a bowl of soup. He walked over to Neji and sits down to where he was before. Naruto smiles at Neji and starts blowing on a spoonful of soup.

"Here you go!" Naruto grins as he brought the spoon closer to Neji's mouth. Neji drank slowly, letting most of the soup be poured into his mouth. After a few sips, Neji would let Naruto dap his mouth of left over soup. As the last spoonful of soup went his way, Neji gently nudge the spoon away from his mouth and lean in close to lock lips with Naruto instead. "Mm—Neji—Mphf!" Naruto groan. "Sto—mmf!"

Neji held Naruto by the arm and lead him into bed and switching places carefully so Naruto is underneath Neji. "Then...let me make it up to you, okay?" Neji whispers quietly into Naruto's ear.

"Okay..."
