I stared out of my frosted over bedroom window at my little sister who was staring up at the cloudy winter sky, her pink tongue stuck out. She seemed content only when she was outside. She hated being indoors, just like me at that age; all I wanted to do was romp around outdoors.

I continued to observe as she continued to absorb whatever magic the outside world brought her.

Though I knew that she should be training, preparing for the time when she would have to fight, the day when the fate of many would hang in the balance, depending on her skills, I knew that she was infatuated with the snow. I never did understand her love of winter, frankly, I hate the season, its cold and raw, ad makes a mess out of everything, but not Coco, she loves the snow- and the rain and just about every other element of nature. She just was a natural nature lover.

Suddenly, I noticed the door below my window open, revealing what looked like a blue marshmallow, presumably Sasuke. He waddled out into the snow, bundled up with about every article of clothing in his wardrobe it seemed.

I glanced at Coco, wondering if she'd noticed. She had. She had turned to face our little brother, allowing that heartwarming look of hers spread across her entire body. She walked over to Sasuke and hugged him, God, she loved our younger sibling. She would dump piles of love onto him and smother him in her kindness.

Together, they trudged through the deep snow, Coco half carrying Sasuke. I the middle of the backyard, the pair began creating balls of snow and piling them up behind what looked like a lopsided wall. But, soon that wall became a fort, complete with an underground entrance (or at least that's what I suspected it to be, considering the fact that I was watching all this from the second story window), a roof, and what looked like a tower made for two.

I looked away for a second to glance at the clock that was mounted on the wall, only to be scared half to death by a large 'SPLAT!'. I turned around to stare at a ball of slush dribbling down my closed bedroom window. I walked over to it and peered down at Sasuke and a hysterical Coco. This meant war.

I quickly sped over to my closet and pulled on some boots and a heavy coat and some gloves. I then dashed out of my room, ran down the hall, slid down the banister, and burst through the back door, met by the joyous screams of my two younger siblings, who made a mad dash for their newly made fort.

I collected up a pile of snowballs and spastically hurled them in the direction of the fort, only to have Coco and Sasuke return fire, and they had a pretty good arm.

I would throw five snowballs, they would counter with ten, by the time that I was freezing and dripping wet with melted snow, all three of us had surrendered to each other and were laying in the snow, laying limp on our backs. I was panting, along with Coco and Sasuke, ready to go in, but not before saying my piece as I stared up into the sunset, then tilted my head back to look Coco in the eyes, which resembled summer leaves.

"Coco-Chan?" It sounded more like a question than I wanted it to, but oh well. I was too tired to care.

"Yes, Itachi?" She also tilted her head back, her black ponytail flopping back into the trampled snow.

"I think I finally understand why you love the snow so much."
