Another fic in Cloud's POV. I had written a poem for a very good friend whom I lost in May '00 and decided to turn it into a POV. Hope you enjoy it.

//Bright, sweet, loving and cheerful
She lightened each and every day
Now I'm left angry, mournful
And how I wish she did stay//

I had met her in the Midgar, but had dismissed her and ran off for my own safety, but I met her the next day. Her smile was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. She was one of those friendly souls whom everyone had fallen in love with...

//When I was completely at ends
With her faith and heart she would becon
It had taken minutes to become friends
And I lost her in one second//

I was a messed up kid who was screwed in the head, and she didn't care. I had lost control and hurt her, and she forgave me. She forgave ME. No questions asked, just her smile. And now I've lost her. It was all my fault, if it weren't for me she'd still be tending her wonderful flowers. But I had gotten involved with her life and she's gone. It's all my fault...all my fault....

//So many things I should've said or done
If I had only found the way
Like tell you that you were the one
Who brightened every second, minute, day//

If I had been thinking clearly, I could've saved her. If she were still here, I could've thanked her for believing in me. But somehow I get the feeling that she already knows what I want to say...

//I cried when I heard, fell to the floor
But I do know that this is the end
So until we meet again, once more
Rest in peace, my dearest friend//

I miss you so much, but I'm moving on, just like you would've wanted me too, but I'll never forget you. I hope you are happy being finally reunited with your family, and I wil see you again, one day.......

I'm sorry that the poem isn't that powerful as I wished, but I was quite depressed when I wrote it so of course it wouldn't come out ok. But I hope that you enjoyed it.
