[Opening scene. A stage is seen with nothing on it. It is completely bare except for one lone spotlight illuminating center stage. A hush falls over the auditorium as a figure emerges from the shadows, coming to stand in the light]
Finn: I was the one she always ran to. I was the one she called up in the middle of the night to tell me that she did eighteen sets on the elliptical. It was me. I was the one.
[Finn stays on stage, looking to his left as another spotlight illuminates the stage and another figure walks out, emerging into the light]
Brittany: I was the one she kissed. She was my first scissoring, always planting sweet lady kisses on my happy parts. But then, she left. It makes me both happy and sad. I thought I was the one she loved. But I guess I was wrong.
[Brittany stays in the spotlight, looking to her left as another spotlight comes on. Blaine walks onstage, coming to stand inside the light]
Blaine: I was the one he trusted. The one I never in my entire life dreamed would be my soul mate. He became my one and only love. You only find those once in a lifetime. He was my best friend.
[Like the others, Blaine stays in his spotlight, looking to the left of the stage as another spotlight clicks on and a figure emerges into the light]
Santana: She was the one who made me realize who I truly was. She accepted me for who I was through all of it. She supported me. Her quirky smile, her laugh; it warmed my heart. I was the one who understood her.
[Santana stays in his spotlight, looking to the left of the stage as another spotlight clicks on and a figure emerges into the light]
Kurt: He was the one I never in my entire life thought I would find. Someone like me. Someone who finally understood what daily life was like for me. He showed me strength, courage and bravery. He taught me how to take a stand when I was being bullied. He changed my life.
[A final spotlight shines on the stage and one last figure emerges from the shadows, coming to stand in the light.]
Rachel: He was the one who made me feel special. Like I was the most beautiful, the most amazing girl he'd ever met. Like I was the only girl in the world; the only boy who ever truly loved me.
[All six are now standing on stage, a spotlight shining on every one of them. One by one, they speak in turn]
Finn: I was the one
Brittany: I was the one
Blaine: I was the one
Santana: She was the one
Kurt: He was the one
Rachel: He was the one
[The auditorium is quiet for several seconds, until all six step forward, the spotlights shining on them as they move to the very front of the stage, speaking in unison]
All: Who made me feel loved.
[The spotlights click off, leaving nothing but a dark, empty stage…and an empty auditorium]
