It's an odd feeling, when people are connected.
Kairi sucked in a sharp breath, as the air around her felt cool, and the feeling of 'something wrong' tingles in her spine. Quickly, she ran outside; the warmth of the sunset rays comfortably shining on her skin, though the goosebumps remain from earlier. The sun blinded Kairi's vision, and she winced, pushing against her bangs, as well as trying to block out the light. That's when she saw the body laying oddly on the beach.
"Sora!"
Her panic heightened when there is no response, and she ran over quickly, paying no attention to the sand that spills into her shoes. "Sora!" Nope. "Sora?" She kneeled down, and tried to revive him…
--
Roxas looks upon his own body—or at least Sora's body, and shook his head worriedly.
"Always be careful," he tried to warn 'himself', but sometimes, spontaneity just cannot be stopped. And sometimes, accidents occur.
It hadn't ever been this serious before. Of course, he hadn't been spiritually split from Sora before either. This was a first, and it almost felt like back in the days of Twilight Town with Hayner, Pence, Olette. He sighed, and sat down on the sand invisibly next to Kairi, who was hastily, but carefully trying to get Sora to cough up water, or whatnot. Clear his airway, get him to be.. conscious again.
He looked out to the sunset, and back down at himself. Was he really lucky to be in this position?
The beautiful mix of blazing red, orange and golds had him feeling relaxed, yet nostalgic. Something in the pit of his stomach didn't sit right with him, despite being fine with his everyday life. Not that he could do anything about it, he was always, and still the Nobody of Sora.
A burning fire of white light suddenly appeared not too far away; looking like the easy transportation doorways of darkness that the Organization had used earlier on. Roxas took notice, though Kairi, and anyone else who may or may not have been present, didn't seem to see anything… Even so, he took his small chance of freedom to venture in. Closing his eyes, he stepped and the light enveloped him…
…But it didn't seem to end.
Roxas opened his eyes, and all he could see was white, white, and more white. "Namine?" He called out, curiously, his mind had imprinted white with the angelic girl ever since the mansion's White Room.
"I'm afraid you may be disappointed if that's who you were looking for."
He sharply turned his head, and still continued to see nothing, which only irritated Roxas more, his brows starting to furrow. "Don't play tricks with me," he spoke quietly, feeling rather foolish and annoyed that he couldn't see whomever was there.
A bright flash of red disappeared as quickly as it appeared before him, and Roxas felt his blood run cold.
He'd only remembered to breath again, when the red haired male appeared before him, and Roxas could only look up with big, round, crystal blue eyes.
"I'm guessing the Dusks never did crack this one, huh?" A tiny, harmless smirk appeared on the man's long face, "Don't you remember?"
"We--.." Roxas wanted so much to say, 'we're best friends,' but in all honesty, he didn't remember. He couldn't remember. He would just be lying. "You're Axel."
And Axel could only return with a sad smile. "At least you got that memorized."

A/N: I don't know where I'm going with this one, it's just 3 in the morning, I'm tired, feeling horrible about everything that is happening in life, and…. Well, all systems go. If things don't make sense, well it's fiction, EE style now! .. :X
