A plane crashes, forty-eight survive

All of us fighting for our lives

One is a man of science, the other a man of faith

None of us know who makes us feel safe

To follow one is to live in fear

He says we're alone way out here

The other says it's a greater plan

Says it's something bigger than man

He says that the crash is our destiny

That the island will come and help me

One sounds logical, the other insane

But on this island, where we crashed a plane

Things happen in the dark of night

People that stay just out of sight

Their whispers are carried through the breeze

Monsters run by and hide in the trees

A ship in the middle of land

A power cord hidden in sand

None of these things could possibly be real

These things we can't hear, see, or feel

But at the end of the day we feel deep down

That this place is different from the cities or towns

This place is magical, it doesn't really exist

I choose the second man to survive through this

So as our two teams wave and say good-bye

I look at the black smoke rising up into the sky

Smoke that can't be explained in a formula or book

You just believe that it's there by taking a look

He's chosen science, I've chosen faith

I just pray to god that I get out of this place
