Wendy has gone back to her normal life, but Peter has stayed in Neverland. Here are some of his thoughts.

Wendy

I often visit you at night

And watch you through the still open window of your room,

Telling your brothers stories about me,

Even after all these years.

When you hear a noise from outside,

You immediately run to the window to look out,

But you always see nothing then

Because I never show myself.

You are sixteen now,

I have also watched you at your birthday party.

You are still the most beautiful girl

I've ever seen.

I have to smile when I see your hidden kiss,

For you once gave it to me

And told me that it was mine, for ever.

I will never forget that or you,

But you have grown up

And there's no way back to Neverland for you.

No, I will never forget you,

And I know that you won't either,

Even though there's another boy now,

Watching you, taking your hand,

Looking at the hidden kiss.

He's there instead of me,

Which really hurts me.

Still, I will never forget you

And your kiss.

You will be my Wendy, for ever.
