Skye opened up Aki's first volume of Fruits Basket, Aki and her older brother Alex leaning over her shoulder. There IT was, right on the first page of the manga was a taped picture of Hatori Sohma, from Fruits Basket. It was a chibi icon Skye LOVED. It was a side view of chibi-Hatori, and it read "Trust Dr. Seahorse". Skye started cracking up.
"Nice one, Aki, real nice!" Skye said, playfully slapping her best friend.
"I thought you'd like it!" Aki said laughing along, thwacking Skye right back.
"What is the point of that?" Alex asked the girls, who apparently were in a violent mood.
"Well you know how Aki here decided on Fruits Basket nicknames for all of us? As you probably know, one of mine is Hatori, and this icon is just so CUTE!" Skye squealed on the "cute" part.
Skye lifted it up, and gently peeled it out of the book. But, just as she did that, a swirling black vortex appeared. Skye quickly dropped the book, but the vortex sucked the book in. A strong wind took over Aki's bedroom, and the three were left screaming. The vortex quickly sucked in Skye, who was grabbed onto by Aki, who was grabbed onto by Alex. Alas, no prevail, the three were sucked into the black vortex, just as it closed.
All that was left was a Fruits Basket manga, volume one. The title was now "A Basket of Confusion", and Skye, Aki, and Alex were on the front cover.
