SuFin- Surprise

Tino Vainamoinen had just finished setting the table for dinner when his lover, Berwald Oxenstierna, came home from a meeting with his boss. It was Tino and Berwald's two year anniversary of the time they started dating. They had both decided that they would have a nice dinner alone at home to celebrate, since Berwald never really wanted to go out much or throw a huge party, in which a certain Dane would never be invited to. Their "son", Peter Kirkland or the micro nation of Sealand, was out for the night, staying over at his best friend, Raivis Galante's house, otherwise known at Latvia. Also their little dog, Hanatamago was asleep in her little dog bed by the fireplace, where a bright, warm glow enveloped the room and drowned out all of the cold weather coming in from outside. 'Tonight will be perfect' thought Tino as he came to the doorway to help Berwald get rid of his cold, damp, snow-ridden jacket and boots.

As the two lovers sat and talked, mostly about what their bosses were up to and anything else current, it was then time for dessert. Tino had made one of Sweden's favorites: Kladdkaka. Tino felt delighted when he saw Berwald, the man of few emotions, lift up his eyebrows in surprise and his dark blue eyes shine behind his glasses. He just knew the ex- Viking would love it. "I knew you would like my little surprise, Berwald." Tino exclaimed happily, bringing out two dishes with a chocolaty, scrumptious piece of cake on both of them. Berwald allowed a tiny smile to curve up into his lips, focusing his attention on Tino, "'m gl'd y' m'de it, T'no. Th'nks." (I'm glad you made it, Tino. Thanks.) The tall Swede then stood up after the Fin had put the two slices down on the table and hugged Finland to his chest, kissing the top of his head in thanks. Finland relaxed in the taller man's embrace and lifted his head up to Berwald to give him a proper kiss, which Sweden happily accepted.

"H'y T'no?" (Hey Tino?) Berwald asked after their dessert had been devoured and savored by the two Nordics. "Yes?" Tino looked at Berwald, with a smile. All of a sudden, Sweden started to get really nervous, "Um…" He blushed, looking down at the floor, "I g't a p'rs'nt f'r y'…" (I got a present for you) He then handed a big white box to Finland, who took it gingerly. He looked at Berwald, confused. The Swede merely smiled, "'pen 't." (Open it.) Tino took off the tops of the box carefully, peering down at what was inside. There was a pristine white tuxedo and dress pants and a card lying on top of them. The little Fin picked up the card reading it aloud, "Dear Tino, our time together has been wonderful. I've enjoyed every second of it, and I think it's time to move our relationship up to the next level…" Tino then looked to see that Berwald was on one knee in front of him, holding a tiny black box. The Fin's eyes shot open in shock and speechlessness, allowing Berwald to take a hold of one of his hands. "T'no," the Swede nervously began, "I l've y' s' m'ch… 'nd I w'nt t' sp'nd th' r'st 'f m' l'fe w'th y'…" (I love you so much… and I want to spend the rest of my life with you…) Berwald opened the box, to reveal a beautiful diamond ring in the shape of a heart. "W'll y' m'rry m'?" (Will you marry me?)
