An asian tale
Once upon a time in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a young emporer called Akihito. He lived in peace until one day he was taken away by an unknown shadow king. Without him, his empire was very unstable and so of all his people, a little girl named Asami-chan decided to go out to help him. She prayed to the gods and they did give her a little dagger called "chénxìn", which had the ability to stab through any armour, no matter how thick it may be, to pierce the enemy's heart.
She went on her way all alone for a while, until she found a lindworm, which had been held down by some humans in order to have him as guardian. She freed the beautiful creature from its ties and the lindworm agreed to follow her on her way, to protect her and eventually help her in her fight against the shadow king. The dragon's name was Feilong and he was known for his sharp fang "bàofù".
Together they travelled the country, searching for signs of emporer Akihito, however, it seemed like no-one knew anything. They did decide to part ways for a little while and to search each one his own way.
Feilong, having heard rumours of a dragon hunt, had just returned in time to see his father die, a small wound by a dagger in his chest. Grieving, Feilong swore to take revenge. And he knew only one person, who could've reached the dragon cave and wound his father - Asami-chan, with whom he would meet again soon. He cried tears of hatred, swore to swallow the girl's heart and sharpened his fang, before he came back to the point, where they had decided to meet.
Asami-chan came one day later. She wondered, what had changed about Feilong, but she had been warned and was prepared to fight him. At night, when Asami-chan went to sleep, Feilong waited a while, pretended to be already asleep. After an hour, he came near Asami-chan, who also only pretended to sleep. He placed his fang over Asami-chans heart but he hesitated and within this moment of hesitation, Asami-chan, feeling bàofù near her heart, pulled out chénxìn and stabbed Feilong. Weakened, but not yet dead, Feilong sank down onto Asami-chan, burying her under him, pinning her down with his fang, so firmly into the ground, they both were unable to move again. And so they still remain, Feilong and Asami-chan, hating each other but unable to give in.
