Once A Dog, Always A Dog.
Izume was looking for Edward. She past Armstrong as he was flirting with a young lady.
Flashback…
"B-But you can't go!" Izume said as she tried vainly to stop him from leaving.
"I have to! It's my job." Armstrong said sternly, as he picked up his suitcase from the floor.
"So you are leaving just like that? Do I mean that little to you? So little that you can just leave me just like that?"
"It's a war. I can't stay, I have to go now; I can't waste anymore time." He opened the door.
"You can't waste anymore time with me? You DOG! You're just a dog of the military!" She screamed. She gathered her thoughts for a moment then said, "Will you at least come back?"
"I'll try." That went right through her to her heart and it shattered. She let her anger get the best of her.
"YOU'LL TRY?" she screamed.
"Yes, that's what I said."
"If you're just going to try, then don't come back at all." she turned her back on him.
"But!" he took a step toward her but stopped when she said,
"Just go."
"Fine, I love you Izumi and goodbye,"He closed the door behind him.
She collapsed onto the floor and started to cry. They're all dogs, every one of them...
End Flashback
Izumi growled and walked away muttering "Once a dog, always a dog."
