This is my first attempt at an Ouran fic!

"This has GOT to be a dream..." Haruhi mumbled to herself. It was a perfectly ordinary day. She was sent out by her father to get some firewood in the woods, when she was stopped by tiny fairies.
And now, they were trying to seduce her, two of them by doing a "brotherly love" act, one of them by being as adorable as possible, one supporting the adorable one, one by knowledge, and one by words and physical contact. She sighed lightly, unfazed by the six male fairies' actions and turned away, heading back along the path she came from in the direction of her home.
"Drolim!" The girl turned back around, puzzled by the fairies' outcry.
In front of her was a man with shining blonde hair, like gold. His eyes, equivalent to the color of a sapphire, sparkled as he grinned happily. The man stood up, brushing off his superfluous outfit, which was covered with dirt.
"Ah, my lady, thank you for saving me"
With a snap of his fingers, the other five fairies transformed into men as well, all adorned in the outfits of knights. Haruhi blinked, confused and baffled by what just happened, and before she could make sense of the situation, the blonde continued to speak.
"I am Tamaki Suou, prince of Ouran kingdom. I was, along with my knights, put under a spell by the evil witch Eclair Tonnerre! And the only way to break the spell was the touch of my one true love!"
Haruhi blinked, shocked. "Eh?!"
Tamaki took her hand in his own, kissing it lightly. "Come on, my love, the palace awaits!"
"Eh?!"

And so, Haruhi was whisked away from the area that she knew and recognized and was forced to move into the Suou Palace. At first, the girl was nervous, not used to the way of the royalty, and especially not used to the prince's demeanor.
Eventually, however, Haruhi adapted and learned to love the way of the rich.
And when Tamaki proposed to her, she said "yes" without a hesitation.
