I sat in my apartment, thinking, just thinking. I've never had anyone like Monica before. She made me feel alive! "It's time, Chandler!" I said to myself. I wasn't turning back, I knew it was time. I was going to tell Monica I loved her. And I knew I meant it. She was the love of my life, and it was time she knew it.
I burst into Apartment 20. "Monica? Monica?" I yelled. "Chandler, is that you?" Monica called from her room. "Yeah, it's me. We need to talk. Can you come out here?" "Of course honey! What do we need to talk about? Is something wrong?" she sounded concerned. Boy, was I going to surprise her! "Nothing's wrong, we just need to talk." I said sitting her down on the couch next to me. "Okay, what's up?" she said. Her voice was like music to my ears. I really did love her. "Here's the thing…" I gazed into her beautiful eyes. My eyes moved to her perfect, soft lips. "I…I love you, more than anything in this world. You make me so happy and I couldn't imagine my life without you." I said.
The biggest smile appeared on her face. She started crying, but happy tears. I couldn't even contain myself. I took her into my arms and kissed her. This is why I loved her. My hands found the small of her back while her hands caressed my face. She broke the kiss and said "I love you too, Chandler. With all of my heart. You make me feel like a princess." I picked her up and we stared into each-others' eyes.
That moment made me fall even harder for her, and I didn't even think that was possible. I carried her to her bed and laid her down. She was giggling like a little girl. That was the sweetest noise I had ever heard. Just as I was about to kiss her again, she said "Wait, Rachel might come home. Let's hold off for now, even though this is all I want right now, we can't." she sounded upset. I hated when she was upset. "Mon, I completely understand. Just do me a favor?" "Anything." she said. "Don't be upset. It breaks my heart." "Chandler, you are so sweet. And when I say this, I mean it. I will love you forever and always." She said leaning in to kiss me. When we kissed, it was like kissing an angel. Monica was the love of my life, and she always would be. Me and Monica, forever and always.
