It was a chilly Autumn day. Stampy was on the roof of his lighthouse, wind blowing through his fur.

"Just let go" Stampy thought to himself, his scarred arms holding on to the cold railing behind him.

"Just let go, and this will all be over."

His fingers were starting to slip, but he mad up his mind.

He jumped.

Down, down, down, he fell with his big emerald eyes filled with tears.

Suddenly, a blue flash and the sound of an enderpearl came out of nowhere, and Stampy was

knocked out of midair and into the chilly shallow shores nearby.

Somebody saved him, but the sun was setting, it was dark, and with the tears in Stampy's eyes, he didn't

see who it was who did it.

"JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Said the mysterious figure in a familiar voice.

"S-Squid?" Moaned Stampy, he was weak from the landing.

"TELL ME, STAMPY!' Shouted Squid, as he started to cry. "What were thinking? Ending your life?"

"I don't know, Squid...I..."

"Promise me, Stampy. Promise me you'll never try that again." Said Squid. "Please. For me."

I...I promise..." Cried Stampy. "Never... never again."

"Good... thank you..." Said Squid, holding out a hand to help his best friend up from the water. Stampy

took Squid's hand, and got up, but Squid didn't let go.

"When and Why?" He asked, looking at the scars on Stampy's wrist.

"Last night" Replied the cat.

"Why?" Squid asked the question again.

"I...I can't tell you..."

"We have been best friends since we were children. We promised each other, that if there's something God knows about us, the other knows too. So, Stampy, please answer this: why did you cut last night?"

Stampy heaved a great sigh and said, "I did it because I was let down, Squid. I saw you . You and Amy. I realized then, that I didn't deserve you, and since you are my life, it meant that I didn't deserve to live it anymore, so I cut." Stampy said, as he too started to tear up.

Squid lifted Stampy's arm and kissed his scars. Stampy looked up, surprised with this movement.

"But... what about Amy...?" Stampy started to ask.

"I don't love her. I never did. She kissed me. I didn't kiss back. I swear. It's you who I love."

"Squid...I love you too-" Said Stampy before Squid cut him off with a hard kiss on Stampy's soft lips, which created a moan that escaped them as Stampy kissed back the Squid that he loved.
