Leo couldn't help but stare at the beautiful girl in front of him. Her raven black hair was darker than anyones he had seen, even Percy's. He had to resist the urge to hug her right then and there. She smiled at him, with a warm expression that seemed strangely familiar.

"Leo!" Areti called, "Leo- Oh you have met already."

Leo said something very smart like, "uh-huh," while he stared at her.

"Leo, this is Yuki, daughter of-" Areti began.

"I'm the daughter of Khione, goddess of snow." Yuki replied.

"Khione, don't like her much," Leo mumbled.

"I don't either," Yuki admitted.

Leo stuck out his hand in proper greeting, "Hello, I'm Leo Valdez, slayer of giants, ect."

Yuki laughed a gentle laugh which was nice compared to her mothers.

"Nice to meet you Leo, I'm Yuki Hίon," she giggled. When they touched hands they gasped and withdrew.

"Ow, your hand is burning hot," she looked sad.

"Yours is ice cold," Leo agreed that it was sad. He wished that it didn't have to be that way but what happend happens. Leo concentrated to lower his body heat, she looked like she was doing the opposite.

"Well I'll just let you figure this out," Areti added while she walked away to meet up with James, her 'boyfriend'. They weren't technically together yet but it was obvious that they had it in for each other. Leo looked back at Yuki.

"I know we haven't known each other for more than 10 minutes but I was wondering-" Leo started.

"If I wanted to go out with you?" she finished then slapped her hand over her mouth.

"Yes! Thats exactly what I was going to ask!"

"Then the answer is yes."

"Well if you would just follow me this way I will show you to a wonderful place, the beach."

Yuki smiled.

For that moment everything was perfect, but then that moment ended (A/N: TANGLED REFERENCE!).

HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

"Holy Hephaestus, can't they leave me alone for a year?!" Leo complained.

Emposa, she demons, had started attacking the camp borders. When Leo and Yuki got to Thalia's pine tree Leo gasped to see at least a hundred she demons attacking at once.

"Ugh," Yuki cursed. She looked at the sky and spread her hand across the valley below and snow started falling on the demons. Apparently their hair didn't like the snow because it started going out. Leo smiled as he set a blast of fire across the demons and they started bursting into dust.
