There were once two boys. Two Brothers. And they were cursed from the moment they entered this world. They were the righteous and the damned. These brothers fought the creatures of hell; Demons, Witches, Ghouls and Ghosts. You name it, they've killed it.
But these boys were drowning in fire. They had lost the ones they had cared so much about to their cause, including each other. The Brothers would go to hell and back for family; and that's what they did.
Their continuous desire to self-sacrifice brought them to the edge time and time again. And eventually they just… jumped.
There were once two brothers. The First one sold his soul for the last piece of family he had left. He had lost his mother, his father and his friends. He wasn't going to lose his brother too. He jumped into the pit, gave his body to pain, his soul to fire and his heart to desire. But this brother was the righteous man, Strong and Broken and Betrayed. And so from hell he flew. He was the Big Brother, loyal to an absent father and to a rebellious brother
The Second Brother was born of darkness and blood. He bled desire and spoke of defiance. He was the brother that got away; only to watch his new life go up in flames around him. He became the damned, the soul twisted by a darkened fate. He jumped into the cage, gave himself to the devil you know and watched as it tore his soul apart. But this brother was the damned one, Defiant and Condemned and Betrayed. He was the Little Brother, rebellious to an absent father and a loyal brother.
This was a story that was meant to be about two brothers that loved each other and betrayed each other, and that was what they did. Hell tore them apart and they put themselves back together again. But as the Little Brother was freed of his burden, the Big Brother gained more. The righteous man, loyal and strong and broken was destined to carry the burdens of others. For his loyalty and strength, was to others, not himself. And as the Little Brother looked towards the opportunities of the future, the Big Brother looked back at the mistakes of the past.
This story was never one about love and betrayal. This story was about the Brother who looked forward. And the Brother that looked back.
