"Hey Coco! Come on!" Crash yelled to his sister. He turned to keep running through the jungle when he tripped over an odd-shaped banana. It was glowing. Coco finally caught up with him, and looked at the banana.
"Crash, what is that thing?" she asked.
"Uhm, I have no idea. I think it's a banana," Crash stated, giving her a look.
Crash picked up the oddly shaped banana, and the two bandicoots took it to Aku Aku in N. Sanity Beach.
"Well, kids, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you can ask Uka Uka. Even though he is my evil twin, he may know what this strange banana can do," Aku Aku suggested, opening a warp portal to Uka Uka's piece of jungle. Crash and Coco jumped through, bidding Aku Aku farewell.
They fell out of the warp portal onto the ground, and the banana bounced out of their reach, straight into N. Cortex's hands. "Why hello, Crash, Coconut," Cortex said, with an evil smirk. "Looking for this?" He held up the banana.
"I AM NOT COCONUT!" Coco screamed, and kicked him in the shin. He dropped the banana, and it started bouncing around the area. The banana started making a shrill screaming sound. Everyone covered their ears, and the banana burst open. Out came a small lizard looking creature. Crash uncovered his ears, and walked over to the small lizard. The lizard licked him on the nose.
"I... wait, what is that? Is..is..is that a dinosaur?" Cortex stammered, and ran away screaming. Crash patted the little dinosaur on the head. "This looks like the beginning of a long friendship, my friend," he said to the dinosaur.
"Meep!" was all the dinosaur said.
