As Luke Danes drove to Lorelai Gilmore's house, he thought about what he would say to her. After all, he was the one that had broken up with her and now he was the one going to get her back. He pulled into her driveway, got out of the car, and walked up Lorelai's porch steps. He heard a Judy Garland movie playing in the house. Lorelai had turned the volume up very loud. He stood in front of the door for a moment, gathering himself. Finally, he knocked on the door. He waited a few moments, and Lorelai came and opened the door. She was dressed in a matching baby blue jogging suit with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. Luke had nothing to say to her. All he wanted to do was be back in her arms once more. So after she opened the door, they started at each other for a few seconds, until finally, Luke couldn't resist any longer. He swooped down, grabbing her and immediately putting his lips to hers. She responded quickly, kissing him back. The kiss deepened with every passing second. Luke felt Lorelai lift her hand off his back and close the door. She led him to the couch, still kissing him. They plopped down on the couch. After a while, they parted.
"Well that was certainly unexpected," Lorelai said, out of breath. Luke was kissing her all down her neck.
"I can be very mysterious about my actions," Luke said, between kisses.
"Yes you can," Lorelai said. "Luke, could you stop for just a quick second please?"
Luke stopped.
"Thank you. Now, what the hell is going on here?"
"I love you Lorelai," Luke said, sincerely.
Lorelai's mouth opened a little in shock.
"You…what?"
"I love you," Luke repeated.
Lorelai smiled.
"I'm glad you feel that way Luke, because I love you too."
Now it was Luke's turn to smile.
"Now…carry on."
Luke smiled again and began to kiss her all over again.
