Charlie knew all about Edward, but what stood out the most was how much he had hurt Bella. Charlie still could not figure out why Bella loved him so much. Bella had even put herself into danger to hear his voice. Somehow, that boy who had hurt his daughter so much had charmed himself back into her life.
