Paul's pov

Man, I'm nervous. 'Why?' you may ask. I was about to meet my girlfriends son, Percy. The way she described him, and made him sound like an angel.

Flashback.

I was looking at pictures on the wall. A lot were of a boy and Sally. "That's my son Percy. I would love for you to meet him. He is the best thing to ever happen to me." I agreed later to meet him. She looked very pleased.

End flashback

"He is the most loyal person you will ever meet!" She told me. After I got home that day, I did some research. He was subject to s nation-wide man hunt at the age of 12, got kicked out of every school ever attended, and has been missing many times.

As a teacher, my first thought was that he would have black hair dyed many colors, wear leather, and would be covered in studs and piercings. I know, very stereotypical, but still... I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. "Get the door Percy!"

I braced myself, but when the door opened, I saw the opposite of what I expected. He had black hair with one grey streak (I would ask later), tan skin, and was well muscled yet lean. He had on shorts and a green t shirt. His eyes were a deep sea green. His eyes seemed to say "I have seen more than an average adult, do not Mrs with me"He is what the field in my class would find 'hot.'

"I'm Percy, you must be Paul Blofis." He outstretched his hand and I shook it. He let me inside. "Hi Paul," Sally said, coming out of the kitchen. "Why don't you get to know Percy? I will be in the kitchen finishing up dinner."

I sat down awkwardly on the couch. After a moment of silence, Percy spoke. "Do you love her?" He asked eagerly. I smiled lightly. He really did love his mom. "Yes Percy, I do." He didn't look completely convinced.

"You don't trust me, do you?" I asked, regretting it almost as soon. "I like you Paul, but liking someone isn't the same as trusting... I can't have another repeat with Luke." He muttered the last part, but I still heard.

Finally, Sally called us in for dinner. Percy occasionally replied to my questions in a different language, but corrected himself. At the end of dinner, I was sure Percy was pretty nice. Not the juvenile delinquent like I first thought.

ONE MONTH LATER

I stood outside Sallys door. I heard Percy yelling. "Annabeth! Give it back!" I heard a girl's laughter. "Annabeth, run faster!" I heard Sally yell. 'Did Percy have a sister?' I thought.

"Seaweed Brain, I am your guest! You must treat me with respect!" I heard Percy's laugh. Nope, not his sister. I knocked and heard Sally calling me in. When I entered, I saw a girl with blond curly hair in a point tail. She had on a CHB shirt on, and tan skin. I would have thought California girl, but the eyes ruined it. They were a startlingly grey, like they were trying to analize my every move. Hmmm... probably just a dumb blond. My opinion changed at dinner. I mentioned something about a well written English paper and showed it to them.

Annabeth then scrunched up her eyebrows and started talking about adjective-noun balance, improper grammar, incorrect spelling, and a list of other things. She quickly rewrote it in a different language.

Sally translated it and it was spectacular. I am never going to judge people again. After they left, I talked to Sally. "I still don't think he trust me." She smiled. "He does, he introduced you to Annabeth."

The night went pretty well after that.
