A man walked into a spa. He stopped at the receptionist's desk.
"Good afternoon, how may I help you?"
"Hello. I have a 2:00PM appointment for a massage."
"Your name, please?"
"Don Allen."
"Let's see, here." She looked at her appointment book. "Ah, yes. I see you've asked for our new girl Ellen."
"Yes. I went to her before, when she was at another salon."
"I see. Sit down and relax, and I'll call you when she's ready."
"Thank you."
He sat down and read a magazine.
A few minutes later, a raven-haired beauty came in. Seeing him, she walked over.
"Mr. Allen?"
He looked up. "Ah, Ellen! Nice seeing you once again."
She smiled. "Likewise! This way, please."
He got up and she led him into one of the spa rooms.
"Now, take your coat and shirt off and lie down on the table on your stomach."
"All right."
("Hi, Max," whispered 99.
"Hi, 99," he whispered back.)
He stripped off his clothes above the belt, then he lied on his stomach on the table. She rubbed oil on his back and began massaging it.
("I'm pretty sure this is a KAOS front. I observed a man go into one of the rooms with one of the girls. And he looked very familiar; I think he is a KAOS agent."
"I talked with 13 earlier. He saw Dimitri enter this salon yesterday at 1000 hours, and leave at 1130."
"I think that's who I saw. Also, I rummaged around in the receptionist's desk, while she was at lunch. I found what I think is microfilm. I've taped it to the bottom of my left foot."
"Good work, 99.")
"Your back is very knotty, Mr. Allen."
"I beg your pardon; I haven't been naughty in a long time!"
"No, KNOTTY-I mean tense!"
"Oh, I see!"
"What you need is my special massage."
"Ah, your special massage! Er, what is your special massage?"
"I'll show you."
She slipped her shoes off and climbed onto the table. Then she got on his back and massaged it with her toes."
"That feels wonderful, Nine-er Ellen!"
"Thank you, Mr. Allen. I'm not too heavy, am I?"
"No, you're just perfect."
"Thanks."
She massaged him for a bit. Then she got off his back and stood over his head. She lifted the heel of her left foot, showing him the tape. He yanked it off.
("Ouch!
"Sorry about that, 99!")
He clutched the tape in his right fist. She got on his back again and continued her work a little longer. Then she got off and climbed back down.
"Well, I see our time is up, Mr. Allen."
"So soon? Time flies when you're having fun!"
He got up and quickly put the tape into his pants pocket. Then he put his shirt and coat back on. Finally he brought out his wallet and gave her a $5 tip.
"You have wonderful hands, Ellen. And feet, too!"
She smiled. "Thank you, Ma-er, Mr. Allen!"
("See you in a couple days, 99. Take care of yourself."
"Thanks, Max.")
He left and paid the receptionist. She put her shoes back on and also left.
