A Different Life- A Replica story

Summery: A different ending to book 4, the other Amy's pulled Amy into the hospital and therefore they stayed in the hospital.

Prologue

17-year-old Tasha Morgan was still searching for Amy Candler.  She thought back to when everyone at Parkside Middle School had found out that Amy had 'ran away' in New York.

"Well its not surprising that Amy ran away from that hospital like that.  After all they DID find that drug in her suitcase, maybe everything had gotten too bad at her house and she decided it was all to much for her." Janine had said once she had gotten back from New York.

"I still can't believe Amy would do something like that," Clara Walker had said.

The story that the hospital had given was that when Amy had woken up she just disappeared. Tasha's parents hadn't believed it for a second and where intrigued that Eric and she had thrown such an outrage over the story that Eric had to tell them the truth about Amy.  Her parents believed it straight out but after Ms Candler had given the Morgan's the same story they had to believe it.  So they started to help Ms Candler to find Amy but the hospital had no record of any Amy Candler and the nurse that had been looking after Amy had been fired or had quit (no one knew the actual story behind that) Amy's mother had been outraged to find that out.

Two years after her Parents had started the search for Amy they had died in a freak car accident while going on their second honeymoon in Florida.  Amy's mother had been given the responsibility of looking after Eric and Tasha and they had moved to New York to keep searching for Amy.  Eric had been accepted to NYU (He got there on a basketball scholarship.) and Tasha was going to a high school in the area.

A knock jolted Tasha out of her thoughts.  She jumped up thinking that Eric had most likely left his keys at home since they had taken the tendency to lock the door even if they where at home. (It was a rule Ms Candler insisted on). She unlocked the door and stood there shocked as the person started to speak.

"Hello I was wondering if I could use your ph- Tasha?" the teenager asked. Tasha could only nod in reply; it was amazing after five years she could still recognize her. She was still dumbstruck as the girl gave Tasha a hug. Finally she was able to get one word out.

"Amy…."

To be continued.
