It was two weeks until the annual Dalton Academy dance. Sebastian had many date proposals but he was still waiting for that one special guy to ask him. Dave was also looking forward to the dance, but he had not yet secured a date. He had contemplated asking Sebastian, but Kurt had advised him against it. Two days before the dance, Sebastian decided to go ask a guy to the dance. He chose to do this after Warbler practice. As he was making his way to practice, he bumped into Dave.
"Hi" Sebastian uttered. He saw that this was his perfect chance to get a date.
"Hey" Dave replied almost immediately.
"Um… so do you have a date to the dance yet?" Sebastian asked nervously. At the back of his mind he was wondering when he became that invested in finding a date.
"No, do you?" Dave retorted.
"I am hoping that by the end of this conversation, I will." Sebastian looked on as Dave's face went from confused to blatant excitement.
"So what do you say?" Sebastian asked recovering from the wave of nervousness and gaining his confidence.
"Yes" Dave almost shouted. "Took you long enough" He added.
They both smiled at Dave's last comment and Sebastian leaned forward and pressed a kiss on Dave's cheek.
"See you later" He said as he walked away, missing the blush that adorned Dave's face.
