A/N: Just a one shot of Fuffy goodness. A 'what if they were together' shtick. Based around (in my mind) season 3 if Faith hadn't gone evil. It could be on any timeline though..not specific enough, so let your minds wander all you want people.
Rating: I'll give it a T. Theres on F word. So people who's eyes burn at reading the word 'Fuck' should go read nickelodeon magazine or something. ( oooohhh thats 2 F words...I'm bad to the bone).
Our two favorite slayers are enjoying a night off patrolling…
."I just don't get it! There had to of been a witch or something. You don't just lose limbs like that!" Buffy snapped her fingers to emphasize. She looked over at Faith who had remained quiet since exiting the theatre. Buffy tentatively slipped her hand into Faith's lacing their fingers.
"Fai, what's wrong? You're all quiet." The brunette slayer sighed and just shrugged. "It's nothing B. Just…nothing." Faith mumbled, watching her docs as they steadily made contact with the pavement. Buffy stopped and gently turned the dark slayer to face her. "Faith. Please tell me?" Buffy donned her patented pout and puppy dog eyes. Faith rolled her eyes "So not fair B." The blonde couldn't help but giggle as Faith slowly caved.
"It's just…..B, we've been wanting a night off for such a long time, and we've been wanting this 'us' time for even longer… I just feel like…. I fucked it up is all. Cause I can't afford one of those wicked expensive restaurant places, we ended up freezing our asses off taking that walk you wanted, and you didn't like the movie." Faith's eyes dropped to the ground, as she huffed in irritation. Buffy felt her heart ache a little at seeing Faith so down on herself. The small blonde closed the spaced between her and the taller girl, wrapping her arms around her lover's neck.
"Faith, this has been the best date I've ever been on." Faith gave Buffy a skeptical look. "It's true Fai. The restaurant was fine, the walk was perfect, because I got to have, my Faith snuggles while we watched the sun go down, and so what if the movie was bad. This is just what I wanted. It was normal, no big bads messed it up and…" Buffy leaned forward and gave Faith a tender kiss before finishing "I got to spend it with the person I love." A happy smile crept onto Faiths lips as she leaned forward and gave Buffy another tender, loving kiss. "Love you too B." Buffy took Faith's hand in hers and started walking again, cuddled up to her slayer, as they made their way home.
