What's wrong?

I've known you far too long

Hello again my truest friend
What's the matter?
You seem a bit distant;
As if your heart's been shattered
Hello again beloved friend
I can see the sadness in your eyes
After she's said her goodbyes
It doesn't help keeping it all inside.
Goodbye for now, my lonely friend
Give me one last hug, one last smile
Keep this letter to remember me by
I'll be away for quite a while
Please, don't cry
Although I have loved you for all these years
My darling, my sweet
I am not worth your precious tears
