Our hard work has finally payed off. After many unsuccessful tries, we have created a gene splicing formula that actually works. It has been dubbed the "Mew-2 Serum."

The day has finally come. Mew has given birth to not one, but three babies. Tomorrow we will begin the process of transforming them.

We have successfully given two of the Mew offspring the serum and they transformed instantly. We will officially classify our results as a completely different specie called Mewtwo. We miscalculated our dosage so we do not have enough serum for the third. We will begin mixing up a new batch immediately.

We have failed. The third Mew has died. The lab assistant had mistakenly added the failed serum, MEW-2 676383 to the serum. The Mew started transforming but it went terribly wrong.

We have told the Research Director of our error. He has demanded all evidence of the third Mew erased from the computer data banks and the body disposed of. I sent the lab assistant out to dispose of the body as the Research Director directed.

Mewtwo #2 escaped from its confines today. In a fit of rage it destroyed the laboratory. We were able to subdue it, though there were great casualties. We have decided to lock #2 away in the deepest depths of the Cerulean Caves. Hopefully, its over...
