~AN: As an apology from me, because of my long absence ;_;, I have written a one-shot for my friend Liz, and I am here to share it with you all :D. As a side note, I am not very good with cute, romantic stuff and other, please tell me what I could improve but anyway here you go! :D

The door to the new hotel room the task force moved to this week opened, and L looked over to see who it was. Liz walked in and looked around. She noticed L staring at her, so she looked at him and smiled. Its quiet in here.. She thought, too quiet.. She narrowed her eyes a bit. "Where is Matsuda?" She asked L. L looked irritably over to the door that leads to the kitchen. Then a clashing of pots and pans was heard and at the sound, Liz jumped a bit, and L cringed.
"Matsuda you idiot.." L mumbled, Liz giggled and walked towards the kitchen. She peaked her head inside and saw Matsuda trying to pick up spilled pots and pans, constantly re-dropping them, while Watari stood there looking rather irritated as well. She shook her head and walked back to L. She sat on the arm rest of L's chair.
"Sooo…" She started "What has Kira done today?" L looked at the strawberry cake resting on his desk as he spoke, "Oh.. You know.. The usual, killing people and hiding from us like it's a video game. Seriously, I think video games corrupt kids these days.." At that L cringed again and Liz laughed lightly and said "Oh I see." Liz and L looked at each other for a few seconds when L interrupted saying, "Would you like cake?" Liz looked at him, just stared.
A minute of silence then, "Hell yeah I do!" Liz practically shouted and her face lit up. She took the cake and ate it. When she finished L laughed at her 'cause she had cake on her nose still. He took a finger and swiped it off her nose and ate it. They were laughing together and then L kissed her lips. Liz froze in surprise but melted into the kiss, it was her first and she did love L. She just didn't know he felt the same way. During their kiss, startling L and Liz, they heard an "Awwwwwwwwwwww" from Matsuda, who was standing in the kitchen door way. L threw cake at Matsuda for that.
