Prologue
Winters point of view
When I was just a pup I was cast out of my pack. I never thought I would find a mate and start my own pack, but I ended up doing exactly that. It was around dawn when I met Taz. When I was hunting I suppose I crossed into another packs territory. I was attacked by a wolf with a blue coat. He was bigger than me, much bigger. I figured I would never be able to take him on, so I just whimpered and said "Please don't hurt me, I didn't know I was passing into your territory." The big male looked at me then let me go. I got up and looked at him, he looked at me. Then he said "Fine, just this once." I looked at him "what's your name?" I asked him. "My name?" he said tipping his head to the side. "Why do you want to know my name?" I laughed "just curious." He looked at me like I was crazy. "My names Taz." he said. I smiled "I'm Winter." That's when it started; we would meet at night near the stream just outside his territory. One day he left his pack and we lived together, we had a son, his name was Kiba. After Kiba was a bit older we started looking for better land. We found an open area with just enough trees and land for hunting and a nice place for camp. A year later we had a Daughter and named her Tango. We found other wolves in the area that were looking for a pack. We found an orange wolf named Bolt, he became our Delta Male. Tango would be Beta female in a few years. We found a peace keeper named Flower. That was the start of our pack, the pack of the Eastern Sea.
