Slipping through his fingers
By: Dusty the Innocent
Summery: Screw as she sees herself grow up (in personality) and sees she slipping through Bobble's fingers
Disclaimer: I own no one but Screw
Based off after when I saw my cousins yesterday and how big they had gotten in just a few months-well and an English assignment
Schoolbag in hand
I leave home in the early morning
Waving goodbye
With an absent-minded smile
He watches me go
With a surge of that well-known sadness
And he has to sit down for a while
The feeling that he's loosing me forever
And without really entering my world
He's glad whenever he can share my laughter
I'm his funny little Amy
Slipping through his fingers all the time
He tries to capture every minute
The feeling in it
Slipping through his fingers all the time
Does he really see what's in my mind
Each time he thinks he's close to knowing
I keep on growing
Slipping through his fingers all the time
Sleep in our eyes
He and I at the breakfast table
Barely awake
He lets precious time go by
Then when I'm gone
There's that odd melancholy feeling
And a sense of guilt
He can't deny
What happened to the wonderful adventures
The places he had planned for us to go
Well some of that we did
But most we didn't
And why he just doesn't know
Slipping through his fingers all the time
He tries to capture every minute
The feeling in it
Slipping through his fingers all the time
Does he really see what's in my mind
Each time he thinks he's close to knowing
I keep on growing
Slipping through his fingers all the time
Sometimes he wishes that he could freeze the picture
And save it from the funny tricks of time
Slipping through his fingers
Schoolbag in hand
I leave home in the early morning
Waving goodbye
With an absent-minded smile
What do you tihnk?
