After infiltrating a top secret umbrella facility, Barry Burton, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Clair Redifield, Leon S. Kennedy and Rebecca Chambers stood a a gate things.
"Wonder where it goes?" Chris asked.
"Only one way to find out." Barry flipped a switch on a small metal box and a electrical gate appeared. "I'm going to investigate."
"Are you crazy!" Leon shouted.
"Nope, just sick of all of this. I want to put an end to it."
"Be careful Barry." Jill looked at him with concern.
He nodded while walking forward. They all signed and watched as he entered the gate. The world he walked into was very strange indeed. It was very green and there were no building. He just stood in a large field and stared. "Where am I?"
"Excuse me, but who are you?" A voice came from behind him.
He whipped around to see small animal that stood before him, a rather odd blue color.
"Yeah, I was chasing this guy when you came-"
"A talking animal!" He shot Sonic and just gazed. After he hit the ground he poked him with his gun. "What the hell is this thing!?"
"Sonic, you cannot defeat me!" He heard from a distance.
A man hovered over the field a meter away from Barry and the talking animal he just shot.
"Sonic?" The man asked
"What!?" Barry shot the mans vehicle and it began spinning out of control quickly too the ground.
"No!!!" He yelled as his flying object hit the ground with an explosion.
"What is this place!?" He looked down at Sonic.
A Few Hours Later
All of the team sat at a picnic table in a park and feasted, with the device with them while Barry told his story of what went on during his few minutes through the gate.
"Te-tell the part about the blue thing again." Clair insisted.
"Well, there I am in a field alone, when suddenly this thing comes up behind me. Scared outta my wits I shot it by accident!" They all laughed as Barry bit into a huge chuck of meat.
"Good thing you insisted we bring this device with us. Umbrella will never have it now!" Leon said.
They all sat out on a picnic table eating and laughing when Rebecca bumped the button on the machine causing the gate to open. When she did, a red thing appeared and looked in.
"Ok, this is weird. Have any of you seen a little blue fellow?" He asked.
All of them just stared, amazed.
"He's about this tall." He measured with his hands. "Wears red shoes, talks a little fast. We found the smoldering wreck of egg mans flying cart but-" He looked around at all of them. "What are you eating?"
Barry looked at the leg he held in his hand. "Uhhh..."
