A completely random idea that popped into my head. Tell me what you think. :)

As Burt Hummel opened the door to his home, the last thing he expected to hear was a loud crash coming from upstairs.

The first thought that came to mind was that he had left his son- well, his biological son, that is- all alone when he'd gone to the garage for work that day. He flew up the stairs, calling out,

"Kurt? Are you okay?"

A weak reply came from behind the bathroom door.

"Yeah dad!"

Burt sighed, slightly relieved. He stepped closer to the bathroom's entrance.

"What happened in there?"

After asking, Burt was really hoping it wasn't something too embarrassing. He recalled the time he'd walked in on Kurt shaving his legs and upper thighs and had decided that knocking was something he would triple enforce in the house in the future. It wasn't as awkward as things could have been, but he was determined to make sure it never got to that point. And he definitely didn't need to know all the things Kurt did behind closed doors.

"Uh, I pulled down the shower curtain by accident."

"Oh," Burt replied, thinking it odd.

"Yeah," Kurt responded quickly. "I was just being careless. I got this darn shampoo in my eye and this stuff really stings, dad. All those natural oils are really terrible for your corneas even though they come from plants that are seemingly harmless and even edible and great for the scalp!"

Burt knew his son could go on for quite awhile. It wasn't that he wouldn't listen to Kurt; it was just that some things were really less important than others. And edible shampoo was one of them. He remembered why he came home from work in the first place.

"I left that lunch you made me here. I'm just going to pick it up and get back to the shop. I've got a lot of work, okay?"

"Okay dad!" Kurt called cheerfully.

"You sure you're okay, kid?" He asked again.

"Yep! I'm great!"

Burt accepted this, sensing his boy was in no great danger.

"Can you put that curtain back up by yourself or do you need me to-,"

"No! Nope, that's okay! Don't come in, I'm not decent!"

Burt smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Alright. See you later, Kurt."

"Bye dad."

Burt trudged back down the stairs, picked up the healthy and proportional bagged lunch made for him, and went back to his work.

Kurt sighed.

"That was close."

"Mmhmm," Blaine kissed the back of his boyfriend's neck and Kurt grinned, a tiny moan escaping his red lips.

"He almost found out," Kurt noted, still not believing his dad had literally been a few feet away from discovering he and the most handsome ex-Warbler locked in an extreme session of making out in the shower. Kurt hadn't gotten any shampoo in his eye; he had simply become just a little too excited.

Blaine grinned and planted a kiss on Kurt's naked shoulder.

"I thought it was hot,"

Kurt shivered at the sound of his voice, and turned around to face Blaine with a smile and another onslaught of kisses.

Burt stepped into the garage and opened his lunch when something popped into his head.

"Why was Blaine's car in the driveway?"
