Zexion was floating in midair when he had found out he was alone, which was his number one fear: no one to see, no one to talk to all alone in darkness only to wake up from his nightmare and scream. Thats when Demyx ran in,asking Zexion what had happened. After Zexion explained all Demyx could think of was cuddle with him so Zexion could go to sleep peacefully.
The Next Morning
"Demyx I told you to take the trash out yesterday." Xemnas had said. "Why does it always have to be me superior?" Demyx complained. "Just do it!" Xemnas said in an irritated tone. Demyx, unwillingly, did as he was told, while Zexion was watching in the background thinking to himself "why does he have to treat him like that? If I were the superior I would treat him like royalty." "Alas" Zexion said, because he knew he would never be superior in his lifetime of a nobody. Zexion had always liked Demyx, because he is the only person in the organization that understands him and considers him a close returned, all upset and sad, only for Zexion to see he had cut his knee open, and was harshly bleeding. During the moment, Zexion, forcefully, took Demyx to the bathroom and bound up his knee in bandages. Demyx was grimacing and wincing in pain while Zexion was helping out his poor friend, because the cut was a few inches deep and it started to get infected. There was a lot of blood scars and infections, but Zexion gracefully and carefully put rubbing alcohol, along with all the bandages to insure that it wouldn't get infected. After Zexion finished wrapping up Demyx's knee, Demyx kissed Zexion on his cheek as a "thank you" gift, and when Demyx got up to leave he turned his head to see Zexion blushing as twilight struck.
Later That Night
Zexion was still awestruck from when Demyx kissed him in the bathroom early. During the meeting at the end of the day Zexion couldn't look Demyx for the rest of the night, but it was only twilight. Zexion knew that something would happen tonight and was getting ready for it. Demyx found Zexion reading his lexicon in the hallway, and Demyx had always wondered what was in that book so Demyx ran up to Zexion, who was quite startled, because he was really into what he was reading. Demyx took the book from Zexion to look at it,but Zexion snatched it back as quick as he could saying that not even Demyx could look in it. Demyx was kind of upset to hear that and Zexion felt kind of guilty for denying his only friend in this castle a request especially after all they went through today. Zexion told Demyx he could look, but made Demyx promise not to tell anyone else in the castle about this, as a loyal friend Demyx swore he wouldn't, and he opened the book. To Demyx's surprise the book was filled with equations and formulas, Demyx thought it was a pretty normal book, until a picture fell out. Demyx picked up the picture and looked at Zexion, who was holding his hand with his other and blushing looking at the floor. The picture was of Demyx and it said "To my number one friend, I hope you'll feel the same way one day" and it ended with a heart. Demyx looked at Zexion, who started to cry and gave him a warm hug, and told him its okay Zexion, I do feel that way. Zexion looked in his eyes and knew it was true, Zexion found true love, and it was his only friend he had, and ever needed.
