So, as the blade falls into empty hands

She says she is selfish, not worth his time

Like he is, he does not try to understand

He refuses her protests with a point of his finger

He is strong, and fights for what she'll never admit

Yet in the battlefield, a single cherry blossom may linger

She knows him all to well, and never lost vision

of the struggles he dealt with in his heart

of the beast, enraged, tangled within him

She knows this man to be strong for those who are weak

She trusts him to make his own moves along the path

She walked along behind his every move along the street

He looks behind and realizes she is there

She looked up and smiled at him

She caught his eyes in a dazed stare

'Fate' was a word that never crossed his mind

Even as everything around him was set perfectly

She disappeared from this world for the final time

If not for her, his hands would hold no blade

His family and himself would lay with their mother

But he realizes this as she begins to fade

He smiles softly and says goodbye to the girl

She smiles back as she is no longer seen

The one who changed his world
