I knew what I was seeing couldn't be real, an apparition of my dead brother. He promised to return to us after Father made him leave, but I saw him die. Perhaps I had lost my mind...or maybe he had come back to me as an angel.
"Angelus..." I whispered.
"Yes sister. I have returned to you." He walked slilently through the door with his hands behind his back.
"Liam!" I cried and ran to him. I embraced him tightly.
"How can this be?" Mother ran in the room. She stood by the doorway in shock. She held her heart and her eyes watered.
"My son..." She whispered.
"Liam, my son!" She also ran to him and wrapped her arms around him. Tears of joy ran down my face and I stepped away as I watched my mother and Liam. Mother started to pull away but Liam held her closer. She started to struggle.
"Liam! Let go of me!" She screamed. Liam snapped her neck. I screamed loudly at the sight of Mother's body as it fell to the ground.
"Quiet down. Father might hear and get worried." Liam said. A terribly ugly face replaced his and he picked her up and bit into her neck. The only thing I could do was stand and watch. When he was done he started towards me.
"Liam no! Please!" I begged. Liam's face returned to normal. The door burst open and Father walked in, angry. He paused at Mother's body and looked up to Liam.
"What is this? I told you never to come back!" Father yelled. Liam smiled. Father grew even more livid and began to turn red.
"Ah, Father. Nice to see you too." Liam ignored his outburst. Father kneeled down to Mother's body.
"What have you done to her?" Father screamed at Liam. Liam's face twisted into the terrible face he had when he attacked Mother. Father looked up at him.
"This is the work of Satan! Go back to your hell, demon!" Father screamed again. Liam ran towards him and started draining his blood too. I screamed. I had nowhere to run or hide. Liam was blocking the closest exit. I backed against the wall and began to pray. I knew this would probably be the last day of my life. Tears streamed down my face as Liam dropped Father's body. He smiled at me.
"Your turn." He whispered.
"Damn you Angelus." The words slipped out of my mouth. I screamed as he lunged toward me and bit into my neck. Soon he dropped my body too. I cried. The two burning holes in my neck caused me great pain. I layed there in agony waiting to die. After a while the pain started to leave and everything went black.
