Relax, I Know What I'm Doing

"Hermione, are you sure you know what you're doing?" Snape asked as his grip tightened on the seat that he was sitting on.

Hermione sounded exasperated as if she had answered this question more than once, "Yes. Just relax."

"How can I relax?" he quipped.

"You could lean back and close your eyes." Hermione suggested without much enthusiasm that he would listen to the advice.

"And not know what you're doing? I think not." He grimaced.

"Oh stop it, I'm perfectly capable of doing this." Hermione snapped.

"Oh really?"

"Really. Now just calm down." Hermione snapped at her ex-professor. She really was sick of him making her feel incapable of doing anything correctly.

"I can't believe Dumbledore is making me do this." Snape muttered to himself.

"I personally find this rather amusing." Hermione smirked.

"Of course you would," Snape snapped.

Hermione jerked sharply to the right and Snape let out a yelp, "Will you watch what you're doing? Not so fast!"

"Sorry. But I must say I know what I'm doing. So I'll go the speed I feel like." Hermione gave a coy smile.

"I highly doubt that."

"Have you ever done this before?" Hermione asked patiently to calm Snape's nerves a little.

"No." Snape closed his eyes in hope that he when he opened them that this was just a really sick dream.

"Well, have no fear, I've been doing this since I was a teenager."

Snape scoffed, "I still don't like this."

"Will you stuff it?" Hermione's anger returning slightly, " I'm nearly eighteen I think I know how to drive a car!"
